Rowlyria Guest DJ
In Second Life, I go by Liam Spicy, though many still remember me by my original name, Liam Voxel. My DJing journey in SL began around six years ago, but my passion for music started long before that. I had already spent four to five years DJing in real life prior to SL, yet stepping into the virtual world was an entirely different experience. The setup, the interaction, and even the way music resonated with audiences all took on a new dimension. At first, I curated sets filled with pop hits, Top 100 tracks, and remixes—songs that could bring energy and familiarity to the dance floor. My first 'residency' was at Atonement Beach, and from there, opportunities quickly started pouring in from other venues. As my sets grew in popularity, so did my connection with the incredible community around me. Week after week, I saw familiar faces returning, new ones joining in, and an atmosphere forming that went beyond just music—it was about shared moments. I believe that DJing is more than just playing tracks; it’s about telling a story, evoking emotion, and creating an experience for people like no other. That’s why I engage directly with my audience through my voice, responding to the energy in the room and making sure every set feels personal and alive.

My heart absolutely beats for House music—Funky House, Progressive, Indie, NuDisco, and Pop—but I embrace all genres, constantly exploring new sounds, mods, effects, etc. Lately, I’ve been pushing myself further into Tech House and even light Trance, but focusing on keeping a House component in that mix, so I like to think I am always evolving, always learning. I am deeply grateful for the venues that have trusted me, for the community in SL that has supported me, and for every person who has ever taken a moment to dance with me, whether for a single song or an entire night. The love and energy in Second Life have carried me through highs and lows, and I carry that love with me into every set I play.

For me, DJing isn’t just about music—it’s about connection, joy, and the shared pulse of the dancefloor. And as long as there are people willing to dance, you can count on me to bring the tunes, and one of the most electric atmospheres you may ever experience.
